Golf Is Simple / Quick Golf Tips

No matter how complicated golf may seem, it is easier to master than you would think. It doesn't matter what your swing looks like. The club path can be a little off, the face angle could be off, and the angle of attack could be off. While it is good to try to correct these issues, as long as you can hit the ball straight, it doesn't matter what it looks like. Just get it in the hole in as few shots as possible.

1. Get a ball with around a 6 to 7-inch diameter. Before hitting a shot put the ball in between your elbows while squeezing tight. This helps your arms stay connected as you swing, making them less likely to fall away from your body.

There are 5 Steps to hitting the driver further.

1. Wide stance- You want your feet to be wider than your shoulders at a minimum.

2. Shoulder tilt- tilt your spine slightly away from the golf ball so that your body can hit up on the golf ball.

3. Ball position- place the ball on a mid to high tee in the front of your stance, lining up with your front foot.

4. Width on backswing- Maximize shoulder and hip turn on the backswing to create more clubhead speed.

5. Use the ground- on the down swing you want to slightly squat into the ground. When you are about to hit the ball, use that power and momentum upwards, hitting up on the ball.

1. Adjust your shoulders to tilt a little away from the golf ball. Kind of like a driver but not near as much.

2. Put the ball three inches to the left of the middle ball position in the stance.

3. More shoulder rotation around you on the backswing can help shallow the club path for a higher launch angle.

4. Finally, practice barely taking a divot and clipping the top of the grass after the ball.

After lots of practice and repetition, the ball will start to launch higher and go further.
